About the Event
Join us for our next LitKidz event, where we'll read Stacey Speaks Up by Stacey Abrams. We’ll have storytime followed by an activity where our kidz will create a paper community quilt!
Each family that participates will receive a copy of the book and pizza will be served. You do not have to be a part of the LitKidz program to attend the workshop.
About Amelia Parker:
Amelia Parker was born in eastern Kentucky and moved with her family to Knoxville in the early ‘80s. She was sworn in as a City Council member on December 21, 2019. She was reelected in 2023 for another four year term and was sworn in on December 16, 2023. Amelia currently serves as the City Council representative on the Knoxville Community Media Board (formerly referred to as Community Television or CTV) and she serves on the University of Tennessee College Scholars Board.
