About the Event

Join us for a Black History Month celebration for the books! Our Literature as Liberation event will feature a day full of events for all ages centered around Black literature and its importance in our community. Come out to support our Bookshop by purchasing a book and participating in activities including adult and children read-alouds, Black literature trivia, and rapid fire book recommendations from our Bookstore Director. We will end the day with a Keynote Speaker to renew our commitment to Black literature. Kids 13 and under get in free! General admission tickets get a $15 coupon to use in the bookshop the day of the event. See you in the bookshop!
