Artist Statement:
Victoria Burnside is a painter. While her main medium is acrylic, she explores medium mixing with ink, watercolor, and 3D materials. Victoria loves painting people of color as reflections of herself. She enjoys using vibrant colors or unique placement to represent Black culture/diversity in a way that shows the diaspora’s beauty in all aspects of what defines beauty!
