Project Internship

We are seeking an intern to provide support for our Sew It Sell It project, a sewing and entrepreneurship summer program that serves youth ages 12 to 16. We're looking for an independent, task oriented and resourceful worker who can support the team in planning and implementing Sew It Sell It 2021. Responsibilities include managing email and social media communications, as well as handling communication between parents, staff, volunteers, community partners and general members of our community. Strong writing skills are a must. Creativity is a plus.

The Bottom’s Intern should also be organized, able to manage paperwork, and an excellent note taker. This is a paid part-time internship and there is a potential for the position to be extended.

In addition to the sewing program, the intern may assist with tasks related to The Bottom’s other projects, programs, and events. The Bottom is a new organization where new ideas come up and change happens quickly. Interns must be flexible, motivated and willing to contribute to that change.
